In order to fulfill the responsibilities indicated above, the successful candidate for this position should have previous experience with the following:
•Working through the software testing life cycle. This involves reviewing requirements and design documents, creating test plans, executing test cases, interacting with our defect tracking system, and interfacing with the development and management teams.
•Working knowledge of Unix/Solaris
•Working knowledge of Windows 2000/XP •Debugging features by analyzing output and log files
•Creating SQL queries to retrieve information from a database
•Knowledge of installing Oracle and performing import/export functions would be a plus •Knowledge of Java and the ability to write and debug Java code would be a plus
•Knowledge of network technologies (i.e. protocols such as SNMP, network topologies, network hardware, and the OSI model) would be a plus
•Knowledge of inventory systems found at telecommunication carriers would be a plus •An understanding of the Operating Support Systems (OSS) found in a typical telecommunication carrier environment is a plus
•Previous experience meeting and exceeding customer expectations
•Excellent oral and written communication

Duties:

Responsible for Install Shield implementation and bug remediation

Skills:

- Expert in implementation of Macrovision''s InstallShield for a commercial product.
- Prefered experience with InstallShield v11.0
- Prefered experience with both graphical and console mode installation wizard
- Cross platform development skills (windows, linux, solaris) required.
- Working knowledge of native packaging such as MSI, RPM, and Pkg is a plus.

Education:

Previous experience and demonstrated successful implentations of Install Shield installer technology
