Job Description
Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
•Lead in the development, implementation and maintenance of specific procurement processes; including E-Commerce initiatives; Supplier Development, Material Information Network and others. Utilize LEAN concepts to guide teams in such efforts.
• Lead in facilitating and managing lean initiatives in World Wide Supply Chain processes. Maintain close interface with Systems & Solutions Global Lean team.
• Lead in facilitating Systematic Management (including QFD) throughout the organization.
• Facilitate and provide training in use of problem-solving tools.
• Take strategic role in identifying long-term commodity management opportunities. Work with
Supply Management peers to ensure successful implementation of savings opportunities.
• Coordinate Best Practice efforts throughout the Divisions; ensuring standardization of practices.
• Maintain role as Quality Champion, ensuring Supply Management personnel are current on
documented procedures.
• Support the maintenance of procurement tools, such as MIN and Inflation Model.
Primary interface with Corporate Procurement for all Corporate Leveraging programs.
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
The position requires a B.S. in Engineering, Supply Chain Logistics or related field with five or more years of related experience.
Position requires 20% travel.

Job Description
Basic duties to include sales calls, account cultivation, development and execution of sales strategies and plans, establish, maintain and enhance customer relationships, provide customer presentations and demonstrations, recommend proposal and pricing strategies to management, provide repots and feedback on the industry.
- Develop and implement long-range business plans that include the recommendation and guidance of the internal/external mechanisms that align Power & Water Solutions' product and resources with customer's needs.
- Help establish business development objectives based on competitive analysis, the business environment and input from various sales channels within the company.
- Assist in recommendation of acquisitions, new technologies, or methods to create business opportunities in accordance with Power & Water Solutions' strategic business plan. Position requires a BSEE,BSME, or equivalent technical degree
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in process control sales, marketing or related fields applying technical products, services, control solutions to process control and information systems/networks is also required.
- Relationships with purchase decision influencers at developers, utility OEM's and electric utilities is highly desirable.
- Position requires advanced knowledge/understanding of power/energy market and the application of DSC technology, application engineering, plant optimization software and enterprises wide products/solutions utilized in power industry.
- Position requires prior experience in technical sales/negotiations process, including commercial terms and conditions, and a thorough understanding of customer specification development, RFQ and commercial process.
- Experience with Foxboro Systems desired.
