Qualifications:

n       B.S. in computer science or demonstrable proof of related experience.

n       2+ years of experience working in a Microsoft .NET environment.

n       2+ years of experience using the C# development language.

n       Good communication and writing skills.

n       ASP.NET experience a big plus.

n       Mortgage and/or consumer lending experience a plus.

n       Experience in SQL databases and their structures a plus.

n       HTML or Java experience a plus.

n       Becoming fluent in in-house development language and tools for the purpose of modifying existing software and creating new application level software.

n       Tracking down and fixing application level bugs as reported by the Fidelity Empower Support department.

n       Perform Application Level software modifications as they become necessary.

n       Assist Entry Level Developers and Interns with programming tasks in order to help them develop the skill necessary to advance to the Application Developer level.

n       Training other Fidelity Empower employees and salespersons on new software as it becomes available.

n       Some phone support as necessary.

n       Assist in quality control of new and existing software.

n       Assist in maintaining on-line help and written manuals.

n       Heavy travel.

You must have very good communications skills - both verbal and written – with the ability to effectively communicate ideas and describe problems and solutions. Critical thinking, reasoning, and problem solving ability is an essential part of this position. You must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Specific duties include but are not limited to the following:

· Respond to client communications requesting technical support on
company's solution (via both phone & email);
· Investigate reported system failures, and take actions to resolve;
· Assist clients with defining integration specifications between
client systems and the company hosted solution.

Required qualifications:

· B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
· Solid experience writing production code in Java and .NET
· Experience with SOAP web services
· Customer oriented with excellent communication skills
· Strong problem skills
· Ability to be “on-call” to respond to after-hours technical issues
