Telecom Voice Project Manager--Pittsburgh

Job Descriptions Include:

• Manages day-to-day execution of specific voice implementation deliverables on a project by project basis.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently from legacy to future network.
• Detailed knowledge of system architecture, features and database, user requirements. Ensures execution of database collection, physical installation of equipment, programming, end-user training, post-cut support needs, etc.
• Manages performance and day to day activities of third party vendors and other project personnel. Insures availability of customer [and other parties] provided resources/predecessors to insure timely conversion and project timeline.
• Develops project timelines and plans, conducts project meeting with customers management team, controls costs per project budget, performs handoff to day two team [maintenance]. High level customer focus and interface.
• Creates and refines detailed project plans, including work breakdown structures, track project schedules and technical performance.
• This project manager role will help to allocate resources, and shape priorities. This project manager will also follow a standard set of practices that ensure the integrity and quality of project artifacts.

Qualifications Education and all minimum requirements Include: BS Degree preferred or equivalent years. 3-5 yrs experience as a Project Manager. Project Manager Certification (PMI/PMP) Have Health Care Domain experience.

Extensive experience in managing successful, large-scale IT projects, that includes voice data networking migrations.

Extensive experience with User Acceptance Testing methodologies and documentation in a very COMPLEX Technical Environment.

Experience in using Microsoft Project to track and maintain work breakdown structures. Ability to develop and maintain detailed project plans, internal status reports, external status reports and detailed status reports suitable for presentation

Ability to lead the project technical and operational team, facilitate the project meetings and maintain the project objectives through effective project management skills.

Experience in delivering the project deliverables within the agreed schedule, to the correct technical specification, i.e., defined to meet user requirements, and within the approved budget and other specified criteria. Strong communication and collaborative skills

Experience in preparing and implementing test plans.
