Job Description
You must have very good communications skills - both verbal and written – with the ability to effectively communicate ideas and describe problems and solutions. Critical thinking, reasoning, and problem solving ability is an essential part of this position. You must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Specific duties include but are not limited to the following:
· Respond to client communications requesting technical support on
company's solution (via both phone & email);
· Investigate reported system failures, and take actions to resolve;
· Assist clients with defining integration specifications between
client systems and the company hosted solution.
Required qualifications:
· B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
· Solid experience writing production code in Java and .NET
· Experience with SOAP web services
· Customer oriented with excellent communication skills
· Strong problem skills
· Ability to be “on-call” to respond to after-hours technical issues
Sr. Engineer reports directly to Operations Director
