Job Description
Duties:
This position is responsible for managing online sales projects that are largely technical in nature. The role will be to champion E-Commerce technology and ensure technical projects and technical tasks of larger E-Commerce projects are scoped appropriately, tracked though the project lifecycle, and completed on schedule.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Work within established project management practices to assist in the development and implementation process of E-Commerce projects involving inter-departmental, external vendors, and/or cross-functional teams
• Work with internal/external clients to gather business and technical requirements and coordinate project plans
• Monitor projects from initiation through delivery ensuring completion of the project on schedule
• Ensure that goals are accomplished and in line with online sale’s business objectives
• Work with a project team responsible for developing and carrying out projects for assigned business unit(s), products, services, processes, and technologies
• Monitor E-Commerce projects ensuring the technology is up to industry standards and quality as well as ensuring the consistency and integrity of the information
• Apply project monitoring and reporting systems and assist in the creation of assignments and project tasks
• Interact with project team in various functional areas to collect and prepare data for new projects
• Monitor projects for inefficiencies or disconnects and recommend solutions
• Typically responsible for specific and well-defined technical tasks assigned to a section of an online sales project and/or program Skills:
• Has represented the organization on technical projects and performed project leadership role
• Technical project management, software development, IT, or other computer engineering background is a must
• In-depth understanding of web technology and E-Commerce infrastructure highly desirable
• E-Commerce experience is a big plus Leadership / Supervision:
• Leads projects from beginning to end without instruction on routine work and little to no instruction on new assignments
• Success is evaluated upon project completion to ensure objectives have been met
• May provide guidance to lower level professional staff but has no formal supervisory responsibility Success Factors: • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work through other people to get things done

Education:
• Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience
• 4-6 years web work experience
• 3 years technical project experience
