Project Manager Lead - Pittsburgh, PA

Responsibilities:

The primary function is to provide the day-to-day operational management of projects. This includes leading of planning meetings, developing and managing project plans, oversight of project controls, project reporting, metrics collection and assessment, risk management, contract management, and contingency planning.

Required Skills:

-Bachelor degree in a technical discipline
-5+ years of software or systems project management experience.
-Management of technical staff
-Familiarity with PMI practices and project controls.
-Previous management experience with software and systems design

-Successfully managing technical development projects to completion.

-- Experience managing software projects throughout the whole lifecycle

- Contractual/Commercial experience

- Must be execution minded and a great motivator of your team!

Desired Skills:

-PMP certification
-Experience with agile software development such as Scrum;
-Experience with Primavera (P3E) and Rational development suite of tools.
